A permanent Saskatchewan HAL I.D. number is needed before a hunting licence can be purchased. We will apply for your HAL licence on your behalf at the time of booking. Hunting licences will cost approximately $150 and will be purchased upon arrival in Saskatoon before driving to Watrous.

We will need some information to apply for your permanent Saskatchewan HAL license:

  1. Full Name
  2. Date of Birth
  3. Residential  address
  4. Drivers license #
  5. Hunters safety Certificate ( if you have one)
  6. Phone/Contact numbers

WARNING:  To avoid potential problems bringing your guns back into the US, it’s a good idea to register them in advance with US Customs and bring your customs registration with you. Remember – ABSOLUTELY NO HANDGUNS IN CANADA!

Before entering Canada with your guns, you will have to fill out a Nonresident Firearm Declaration (CAFC 909) and Continuation Sheet (CAFC910). Forms should be filled out prior to arriving at Canadian Customs and presented in triplicate, unsigned, to a customs officer at your first point of entry into Canada. Canada Customs normally charges a fee for the registration.
