GUN PERMITS
WARNING: To avoid potential problems bringing your guns back into the US, it’s a good idea to register them in advance with US Customs and bring your customs registration with you. Remember – ABSOLUTELY NO HANDGUNS IN CANADA!
Before entering Canada with your guns, you will have to fill out a Nonresident Firearm Declaration (CAFC 909) and Continuation Sheet (CAFC910). Forms should be filled out prior to arriving at Canadian Customs and presented in triplicate, unsigned, to a customs officer at your first point of entry into Canada. Canada Customs normally charges a fee for the registration.
