To me, guiding waterfowl hunting is not just about the birds or the trigger time. What keeps me waking up early on fall mornings is the smell of brewing coffee, the dew on the cattails, and the sound of a flock working overhead. I started out with Alex as one of the young local kids that he would take out bird hunting on the weekends. It quickly became a passion of mine. Guiding allows me to spend time with some great people and witness some amazing moments. I feel very fortunate that I live where I do and have such amazing land and wildlife around me. While other people are enjoying the heat of the summer, I am getting my calls tuned and waiting for the first sign of fall.
